About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meeting lively people all over the world, appreciatively and respectfully experiencing their culture, and having a blast without going broke!
ABOUT ME
I don't mean to write a whole book, but I figured if you get bored you can stop reading ;)
Well, what most people first notice about me is how outgoing, conversational, and curious I am. I love learning about people, places they've been, and just anything else on their minds.
Many good friends have said that I'm very open-minded, trusting, and trustworthy. True, since I grew up in a diverse city with friends from all backgrounds, in all kinds of occupations, doing all different things in their lives. What also helped was being taught to always look for the best in people and our world, too.
I'm quite understanding once people inform me about what they are thinking and feeling since I was raised to speak my mind. However, I am also very adaptable, since I lived in many different home situations and try my best to be observant of others' needs without their needing to say anything.
I must admit that I am a night owl and I love to go out dancing, but I am also respectful of people's lifestyles. If a host works the next day and is a light sleeper, I would not be going out and waking my gracious host up from much-needed sleep! I would just be so thankful for a place to sleep! Normally though, my friends and family know I'm at home in the morning sleeping off a whole night of dancing (by the way, I'm a non-drinker so they don't worry!). I try to keep the late-night dancing for the weekend anyway.
I am always a helper, too. I'm the type of guest at a party that goes to the kitchen and asks the cook if they need any help--a great way to learn some recipes I'm sure! Seriously though, I love to be helpful and ease a person's burden if I can. I am also open to new activities, ideas, anything. I probably picked this up growing up in somewhat difficult circumstances where I had to make things work. But what didn't kill me only made me stronger in life!
If there is anything else about me you would like to know, please don't hesitate to ask!
Warmest of Hugs to you!
PHILOSOPHY
Keep your heart open, for despite inevitable heartbreaks, nothing will truly hurt more than keeping your heart isolated.
Try your best to search for happiness, and keep searching until you do.
The way I think about my life is a bit out of the ordinary, at least compared to other gals in my age range. I'm not focused on having a family at a specific age, getting married right after my career starts, etc. I want to live out my dreams, even my fears, so that when and if I am ready to have a settled life, I will always have known I tried various things and with such history, continue to explore my life. That could even lead to my life never being "settled" in the conventional sense. I'll see what happens...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being a passenger, I have saved a fair number of people from being hit and rescued a few lost dogs.
When I was snorkeling at Electric Beach in Hawaii, seeing hundreds of fish was just breathtaking!
