I am an half Austrian, half American who was raised in Japan till the age of 7, then moved to Vienna, Austria where I still live today.
Currently I am teaching piano and singing as a private teacher. I also coach and help all kinds of musicians, producers and bands. I myself am a singer-songwriter, pianist, film score composer and frontman of a progressive metal band.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I travelled a lot of the world touring and performing music. Now my time is mostly dedicated to a lot of new projects based in Vienna, so I'm bound to stay here most of the year. Yet i have decided to find more time to travel and meet people from all around the world to work on some music, maybe just exchange experiences and ideas, learn about their culture and create great memories! With Couchsurfing I hope to find a way to combine my lifestyle with traveling, because I simply don't like to stay in a Hotel, be forced to be a tourist, and not to be able to express or even find inspiration trough exchange of ideas and thoughts with similar minded artists, travelers, and open minded people. I think with Couchsurfing I might be on the right track!

You know the joke "How can you play in Carnegie Hall?" - well the answer would be "practice, practice, practice"..
yet the jokes on me because sang in Carnegie Hall, without a lot of practice, well, honestly, I simply didn't prepare the music well enough.
