About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to make sense to the fact that people forgot how to simply do nothing and think or talk rather than using their phone

ABOUT ME

I'm a very nice guy, who likes to get to know the world and its inhabitants. That's why I like to listen to peoples stories and experiences over a beer. I realized the more you learn and see from the world, the faster you realize that you know nothing.

PHILOSOPHY

We just have a limited amount of time on this planet. I think everyone has the obligation to make the most out of its time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm back in Germany and found a new place in Leipzig, I'll offer a couch. If I shouldn't have time, I'm always glad to show people around the bars and nice places of Leipzig.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. I slept at nice places offered by kind people all around the world. But I've never used Couchsurfing for that so far.

Interests

I love travelling and getting to know foreign cultures, countries and people as well as reading, listening to music, grab a drink with friends, go to a good concert.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Rock and Metal. Especially the deep guitars of Stoner Rock bands like Kyuss absorb me totally. Furthermore, I like high-quality TV-shows like Breaking Bad, Community orHouse of Cards. Some of my favourite authors are Hermann Hesse, David Foster Wallace, Haruki Murakami, Charles Bukowski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attending at public burials in Varanasi, India. I'm a pretty rational guy. Thus, when I say that I had a moving experience I mean it. Seing a body vanishing in the flames makes you reflect on a lot of things.
