About Me

Bonjour!
J'adore la langue française. Si vous parlez français, vous êtes bienvenue chez moi. Mon français est très limité, j'apprends tout le jours avec un app s'appelle Duo Lingo. Mais je n'ai personne avec qui m'entraîne.

Hello y’all!
I love hosting people from around the world, but please read ALL my profile before you send a request =)

I’m going to start by saying that I consider myself a very open-minded person. I think I’m very easy going and find easy to talk to mostly all types of personalities. I’ve been told I’m very chatty, not sure if it was a complain or a compliment thou.

I like to travel, that’s definitely something I enjoy. So, for me, having a guest from another city or country is kinda like traveling by proximity. I always try to learn about other cultures directly from those who live there.

I’m an amateur photographer. I’m still learning a lot but definitely I can shot some decent pictures. I often do outdoors photography but I'll try every setting.

I enjoy hanging around with people and doing stuff just for fun. I believe that you gotta try everything at least once (as long as it’s is not illegal) thou exception may apply... I’ve done a lot of cool stuff with my CS guest and for the most part I’ve enjoyed it a lot, so I’m looking forward to meet more people from the CS community. I guess there's much to left say, but it´d be better to say it face to face...

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let Live. Understand that each head is a different world that does not has to match with mine, that's what makes coexistence among humans so delightful and interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By sharing the best of my culture and grasping the best of others. I truly enjoy showing my city around to others as well as give them some good advices or a ride if necessary, I like to do this cause I know by self experience how great it feels when someone does that for you during your trip, especially if your travel on a budget or by yourself, I really know how that feels like , LOL!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nice so far. I've met a lot people from other countries and each time has been a nice experience.

Interests

I love theater, specially Broadway musicals, I’m a big fan. I enjoy traveling by myself or in group. Meeting pleople, learning about other cultures, especially try new foods and drinks. I really like to know how everyday life is in other countries. I love hiking, I'm not the best at it but I can walk good 15 miles on a seatedy pace. I like photography too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love hanging around the city, even in places I've visited before. One thing I believe makes me a good host is that I'm very easy going and willing to do/go stuff/places with my guest that I wouldn't normally do on my own, such as concerts, business conferences, visit colleges or other stuff that my guest might be interested in. Something else I think is very positive from me as a host is that I respect my hosts schedules and plans, that is, if you tell me you come to town for a convention, work interview, religious stuff etc, I will understand and let you move by yourself (if you have a car or you're brave enough to use public transportation LOL!) but the point is, that I will try to adapt to your mission in town, and as much as I can I'll help you to accomplish it. One thing I DONT like is soulless requests, "Hey I'm John, I need aplace to crash in Dallas for 2 nights". Try to understand that I'm going to open my home to a complete stranger, the very least expect is a somewhat elaborated request, tell me about you, who you are, why you come to Dallas and why you'd think I'd be a good host for you, It's not too much, I'm not asking a University-level essay, but if you think doing this is too much, then maybe a hotel room may suite you better .

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Honduras, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden
