About Me
To be brief, I am...
An ukulele and cartooner amateur, ex professional table tennis player.
A coffee addictive and a cheese lover.
A late night chatter and a wine lover.
I am currently working as a Chinese professor at the University in Toulouse. I like to chill and chat in cafeterias with good atmosphere and sometimes on weekends, to get myself wasted on parties.
I have just moved into a shareflat in Toulouse a couple of weeks ago, so it´s a bit hard for me to host at the moment, as my young flatmates have never heard of couchsurfing before. I m introducing the community slowly to them. Need to bring them on board and convience them that couchsurfing is a cool place to meet random people who might end up being a good friend and with whom you might meet up again somewhere else. Life is a box of chocolate, you never know what you are gonna get, who you are gonna meet...
I find it impossible to write more about me in just a few lines, so I guess I will tell you in person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first heard of couchsurfing when I was studying in Aix as an Erasmus student back in 2013. I randomly met somebody in a bar who told me about couchsurfing meetings, so I went there, all by myself with my crappy French and I awkwardly introduced myself in the conversation. After a while, I met new friends from different cultures with whom I hang out regularly and that´s why I am still here on couchsurfing.
I have always wanted to meet new culture and it was really nice to sit, chat and get to see things from a new perspective, either as a host, traveller or in meetings.
Interests
I have so much free time that every once in a while I start a new hobby. I learned how to knit a scarf, I started grafitti painting in some abandoned houses close to where I used to live and I like playing pool, though I am quite bad at aiming. I like watching FRIENDS over and over again and I like sharing meals.
- cooking
- reading

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all kinds of books, specially those about murders and adventures, authors such as J.K. Rowling, Stieg Larsson, etc. I like European, American Contemporaneous literature and big fan of manga/comics.
Depending on the mood, I watch lots of animation, adventures, thriller movies and of course, every Christmas Bridget Jones xD
Regarding Music, hard question. I guess all, I don´t have a specific genre, and specially nowdays, there are so many that I get easily confused but, I really enjoy electric swing, jazz and the classic rock, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can´t consider it as something incredible but it is definitely something that I would like to repeat again.
In 2017, I decided to go around Taiwan for 15 days by myself. Hitchhike from north to south, east to west and meeting hosts from one place to another. I met so great people on the way that I changed my itinerary to meet them again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach languages, table tennis, how to do henna tattoo, play the ukulele and maaaaybe.., Chinese food (but only easy dishes).
I want to learn how to whistle.
I SHARE FOOD.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Dinner and/or bottle, basically food.
Human beings have a very sensitive taste bug and some flavours are unforgetable,
no matter how good or bad it tastes, you will remember.
Depending on how well I get to know them, I also leave a little gift from where I come.
