About Me

CURRENT MISSION

“Done laid around, done stayed around
This old town too long
And it seems like I’ve got to travel on”

ABOUT ME

My main interest and the field of work at the moment is art and science synthesis. I believe that these both fields are similar in one major trait- you need to be highly creative to succeed at both. Thus, I believe, society would greatly benefit from lowering the gap between artists and scientists.

I am developing my art-science project ideas, and collecting illustrations and cases on how arts and culture can challenge the social stigma around psychiatric health and disability. I spend my free time travelling, in gigs, modern art galleries, reading and late night-morning talks about it all. I am trying to create the rhythm and ritual to continue writing poetry.

I need to feed myself with a lot of stories, music (love it all from jazz, blues, folk, rock, electronic music, etc), galleries, people, nature, cultures and adventures to feel that I am living. And some cheese, wine and chocholate. This is why I am travelling and this is why I am here on Couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just prefer meeting the country, it's culture through people, long talks and walks, gigs, street art and other means of art, rather than doing an exhausting run around all the must-sees. And when these people you've been staying with become your friends, it gives even more value to travelling.

I started couchsurfing in Paris, where I spend the whole trip between musicians, and saw all the best Paris has (and oops, I did not visit Louvre). Then came Barcelona where I stayed at hippie-commune-like house with all the nice and open people in it. While living in Edinburgh, I hosted a people and tried to help to enjoy Edinburgh to the full.

Interests

My main interests are art and science synthesis, alternative education, the power of cultural initiatives to unite. Other interests are poetry, visual art, performance art, cinema, history, travelling, hiking, dance (this one is more a passion rather than an interest), science.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing rooftops is one of those small biggest pleasures.
Jamming in the street on a sunny Easter Sunday, selling lemonade and spreading loads of energy that makes people pass by with a big, big smile.
Hosting a house-gig of 4 bands, and squeezing around a 100 people in our living room was quite cool as well.
Hitchhiking is also always a great experience!!
