ABOUT ME

Hi !
I'm François and untill the end of september I was an Engineer in Switzerland in the field of river engineering. I decided to take a break to travel in New Zealand for a year, discover a different culture, meet different people, see wonderful landscapes and improve my english !
A little more about me, I'm 25, 1.88 m tall, blond hair and blue eyes. I lived in France most of my life but also 2 years and a half in Canada and 1 year and a half in Switzerland. Besides traveling, I like music (I play the guitar and want to try the ukulele :) ), sport (mostly tennis and archery) and series like The big bang theory and How I met your mother.
I'm sure this description of me is incomplete, but you'll learn more when we meet :)

PHILOSOPHY

That's a tough one...and i think a would'nt have give the same answer a year ago !
I live to enjoy my life, meet great people and have fun with them, by talking, playing some music, shearing a meal...the more i grow up the more I think "you wanna do it...do it !".
But in the meantime I still want a family one day and the philosophy will have to adapt :), but for now I'm young and I plan to have a great time my trip in New Zealand !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered Couchsurfing by friends who have experienced it and enjoyed it very much. As I'm leaving to New Zealand soon I thought I'd try it too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've got no couchsurfing experience but lots of roomate experience. I live with roomates from august 2009 (when I arrived in Canada) and had very fun experiences and met wonderful people. I met a poker gamer in Montréal who invited me to the restaurant after having won about 20'000 $, a cook in swistzerland who has becomed one of my best friends... and about 20 other people from, Canada, France, swistzerland, Spain, Korea, Belgium...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A canoe/camping trip with a friend in Canada. It had it all, the nature, the landscapes, the sunrise when you wake up, great people met with the whole stuff to party at night in the woods and a little nostalgia when I came back !
