I'm a 23 year old Dutch guy, about to graduate in the MA intercultural communication. Other than spending time in international settings I have a passion for: Italy (in all its aspects, from gastronomy and language to literature and architecture), sports (in general, but mostly football - the one that's actually played with feet, not the other one), reading, trying out as many beers or possibly wines as possible, music, reading and the list goes on, so if you're interested just message me.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My main objective on Couchsurfing is meeting people, however I certainly would appreciate the possibility of actually surfing on someone's couch on of my next trips and I would do everything withing my power to host someone (I'm only limitited by my roommates who I think should have a say as well, but if they are fine with it, you're more than welcome).

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Wide range of music: from jazz (which in my opinion has become too much of a generic term now) to Latin American music to Caribbean music to House and HipHop. I don't have any movies I like in particular as in a top 10, but I enjoy the Marvel and DC movies, LOTR, the Hobbit, Starwars and alright there are a few that don't stand out: Suburra by Stefano Sollima which I went to see yesterday, la Grande Bellezza, the Green Mile and I am legend. Books: several, preferably the ones with a story that gives you a way out of reality. I really enjoyed the books by Dan Brown and I'm currently reading The name of the rose (Il nome della rosa) by Umberto Eco.
