Hi! I'm Cäcilia ( "Cecilia") and I'm currently living in North California to work as an au pair. That means I'm a foreign, live-in nanny. I am 20 years old, originally from Germany and have been living in the states since July 2013. I've spent my first year as an au pair in Chicago ❤️ And then decided to extend for another year in California cause I wasn't ready to go home yet - I haven't seen enough of the world yet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a common thing among au pairs, I hear lots of people talk about and loving it cause it's a cheap and usually uncomplicated way to travel around and save some money. I thought I'd give it a try :)

I'd say I'm open to every music genre but right now, I mostly listen to rnb, hip hop and pop.
I love Tarantino movies, especially inglorious basterds and kill bill. When it comes to tv shows one of my favorites are the walking dead, scrubs and orange is the new black.
I haven't been reading a lot lately but I'll always love the Harry potter series haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I moved to the US when I was 18 and that was quite a big deal for me since I just finished high school and have never lived on my own before.
Another thing that's not that spectacular is that I've participated in a few school musicals and I loved it :)
