One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know about amazing, but my favorite embarrassing travel story is going through immigration at Heathrow. I was incredibly nervous and the guy was so serious the whole time that I didn't realize he was making small talk. After giving me the ok, he said: "your English is really good", but I didn't hear the "your" and thought he was just making a general remark about the language.

So I nodded, said "YES", got my passport, and left.

TL/DR: there's an immigration worker at Heathrow who thinks I'm a arrogant bitch and that hunts my dreams.
