I'm a very open girl who like to travel. I'm espacially interested in Germany and in the german language. I studied german in Montreal and then I lived in Germany where I worked as a foreign language assistant in a school. I helped the teachers in french classes. I also did an exchange in Cologne and now, I'm doing my master in Düsseldorf.

Since I come from America, I really enjoyed my time in Europe to discover new countries, new cultures, new languages and new people, because it's here a lot easier to travel! :)

I like music and I often go to concerts, and I'm pretty open, I like to discover new bands and new music styles. I'm very spontaneous as well, so I don't plan that much and prefer to do things when it comes to me.

I think it's important to do what we really want to. This is why I went to live in Germany. For me, it's reallyimportant to travel. It's when you travel that you learn the most, and not only about new people and cultures, but also about yourself. Being in contact with foreign people make you realize who you are, and why. And every new experience is unique!

I also think it's important to be conscious of the world and the people around you. This is why I changed the way I used to consume in the last years. Thinking about what I do before I do it changed me a lot and the way I see the world!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to travel and meet new people with Couchsurfing, to share with like what I know and what I like.
I would like to host people at my place to help them and to learn from them , because this is very important for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I didn't really do Couchsurfing myself so far, but a friend of mine and I were hosted in Rotterdam, and it was a really good experience.
Also, during the summer 2013 (in Montreal), my room-mate was host on Couchsurfing and I also had a few couch-surfer at home. I also did a lot with them (going out, have a beer, show them the city...) and really enjoyed the time we had.
Now I'm looking foward to live new Couchsurfing experiences!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like a lot of music styles... Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop, Reggae... I'm really open! I also like a lot of different movies... I just don't really like pop-Hollywood-style movies. And I like to read, especially german authors, especially since I'm studying German literature ;-)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I learned german :) I never actually never thought I could do it, I'm really proud of it.

Next step, I want to improve my spanish, so then I can say I speak 4 languages! And I also would like to learn Dutch!

I really like language and I would like to be a teacher. I really like to share what I know with others, and I like it's something I can do pretty well! I know french and german languages really well, so I can share it with anyone who is interested in it!
