I've used couchsurfing many times while in Turkey, it's really the best way to travel.

Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Firefly - generaly fiction, but I like to watch almost everytihng.

For music it's rather stronger rythms like rock and metal, but also blues, jazz and folk
