I'm Sidsel, 21, studying and from Copenhagen.

I love reading, watching and playing theatre, eating and cooking good food, playing music, making ceramics and i really enjoy meaningsful conversation and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trough high school i got involved in quite a few different exchange projects, especially in France, and i found great joy in exploring new places with the people who live there.

I'm very curious and it's been a pleasure exploring other cultures and languages. These days I miss travelling and meeting new people trough different kinds of projects.

In the last 5 years I've only had good experiences with being hosted and hosting people. I really enjoy sharing a little bit of my life and being inspired by other ways of living.

I've among others enjoyed reading books by John Irving, Göran Tunström, Albert Camus, Tove Janson, and Marguerite Duras.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I emptied a ceramics kiln and got out all the beautiful pieces felt amazing!

In 2014 I was a part of creating and executing a conference with the organization EUDEC about democratic education, whith 6 or 7 people staying in my house. It was a great conference and one of the best weeks I've lived.

I'd love to talk about education and democratic education. I'm very curious and if you are really passionate about something, then there's a chance I will be up for learning something new! I think a lot of things are interesting if taught by someone who Is passionate and enthusiastic.
