Overview
About Me
I am a Dutch guy born in New Zealand but raised in The Netherlands. Recently finished my master study Molecular Life Sciences. Meaning that I can now find a chemical job in any kind of natural sciences. My main focus lay on ocean chemistry and soil chemistry and my future focus will most likely be something in between, like river or mangrove studies.
Besides my studies, which dominated my life the last 8 years, I am true traveler who has been in a lot of countries (mainly Europe). My best experiences was trying to go into the wild in Slovenia. I managed but after a week I was exhausted, mainly due to bad preparation.
In the meantime I met my lovely girlfriend who now joins me during my journey's. The last one we did was Morocco and that country is amazing and a must to see.
In my free time I like to work with my hands like, build things, work in the garden stuff like that:) Also I am gaining more and more knowledge about medicinal plants by reading and practice with them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my staying in Amsterdam I helped several tourists by offering them a place to stay in my home. This was not official couchsurfing but I met them on the street/park or in the pub and invited them over. In general I like to help tourists in anyway I can.
