ABOUT ME

I am an Artist whom enjoys travel and new experiences! One thing I have learned is travel fuels beautiful new artwork and blossoming friendship. I enjoy creating artwork for others as much as for myself, so where ever I go I give a little piece of my heart to the people I meet. I have been an Artist my whole life and now things are getting very exciting. I also enjoy acoustic and electronic music. Music is a big part of my life and I think it would be so cool to record music with people I meet and jam a bit. I also love sharing recipes, I'm a big fan of trying new dishes and sharing mine with other, Curry is probably my most favorite and sushi.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy stems from experience. With experience comes great learning and change within ones being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to enrich my environment with great Art, Music, and conversation. Also Cooking lots of good smells in the kitchen!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had one couch surfing experience so far and it has been such a wonderful experience! My first experience begins in Santa Rosa, I was perplexed to find as my Boyfriend and I drove our van into the park to find a house inside the park! apparently the city bought these houses with the land and our kind host Nick took us in, sitting on the porch is my favorite looking out into the park. Our van is a house on wheels so we do not require much but use of the shower and stove, we're like sea monkeys, we require little and are gone in a few days. Jokes aside though I was pleased to grant our host with a customized painting in return for his kindness. Such a worth while experience I look forward to many more!

Interests

Painting and drawing are my favorite interests. Music fuels my inspiration and nature encourages organic creations. I also enjoy playing Basketball and going on hikes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to choose, but theres one that really jumps out. I escaped a flood in the canyon lands of utah in 2010. while hiking in the canyon with my friend a storm came in and shook the canyon, the sound of the thunder inside the canyon was enormous and it felt like every single element was lapping against us, a completely dry canyon became a river again and the red water rose as we ran full sprint out of the depths. A story I must tell in person but one of the most gripping experiences I have had.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn something from every person I meet even if we are complete opposites. I have learned much in my six months as a teacher as montessori, the children showed me so much. I look at every encounter as a learning opportunity.
