Hello, my name is Jerod. Currently, I am an Youth Devolvement Specialist in the province of Huelva, Spain. I have previously lived in Granada and also in Morocco for a number of years. In this time, I’ve also had the fortune of traveling around Europe and getting to know a variety of people from all walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CouchSurfing, to me, has changed the way that people see the world. When I had asked a friend of mine; a highly experienced surfer, what makes this company stand out, he said that "Unlike other companies, this is the one that allows you to not only get to know cultures, but also allows for an authenticity in human to human interaction.”

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed the Camino De Santiago pilgrimage in 2015, a 800 km (500 mile) hike across the northern coast of Spain.
