Overview
About Me
I'm a Chemical Engineering student living in Guanajuato, Mexico. which is a great place to meet people with very different backgrounds.
I really enjoy learning languages, and I currently speak English, Spanish (duh!) and French. I'm also trying to learn German but I can't get over of how unnecessarily complicated it sometimes is.
I'm pretty easy going and (mostly) organized. I love talking about science and awesome people doing awesome things. (Some examples of people I look up to are Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Bill Nye, Jeff Bezos & also non-sciency people like J.K Rowling, Justin Trudeau, Hank & John Green)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now, because I'm doing an exchange semester in the University of Caen, France. and I'm really exited to visit and travel around Europe, to see friends I have met in Mexico and went back to their native countries.
I haven't travelled a lot, I've been only in the US (before the Great Wall of Trump era) and in Mexico. So that's kind of the point I want to travel so badly, and Couchsurfing is just an excellent resource. It's also free, and I'm a student (So I'm poor).
Also just because I've had great experience in the past hosting people, and I think the community here in Couchsurfing is pretty damn cool.
Interests
I haven't played tennis or danced (salsa, for which I took courses) in ages, but they were a fun and significant part of my life before, so that's why I'm mentioning them.
Music, Movies, and Books
Stephen Hawking (The grand Desing), Stephen King (Carrie), J.K. Rowling (HP series). Dan Brown (The Lost Symbol, Inferno), Nietzsche (Human, all too human)...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I dunno... Some beers? My recepy for the perfect tacos? My time? I guess I could sing you a song in Spanish, but I think you'll end up regreting making that request 2 seconds in.
