CURRENT MISSION
Enlarge your world!
PHILOSOPHY
Be the strange you wish to see in the world!
I'm a positive and an easy going person who likes adventures with a smile on her face. I was born in Istanbul, Turkey and currently located here. I live alone in Ortaköy. I was an Erasmus student in 2014 and I was living in Haarlem, The Netherlands in a flat with 6 others from different countries. I met some amazing people and I would like to believe that we have created a life long friendship. In the meanwhile, I had the chance to explore other parts of Europe. More I see, I wanted to explore more. What else? I used to play an acoustic guitar in a horrible band. Oh oh, I have a dog named Efe and 3 amazing cats, Pamuk & Şanslı & Karam, whom I love soo much. I like riding a bike and running mostly, but not going to the gym. I don't like the feeling of being stuck inside with many people. I would rather be outside breathing fresh air.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Thanks to my old roommate Polina Vasileva-Peltekova!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My friend Polina and I experienced it once while we were doing kinda a road trip from Haarlem to Rotterdam. Our host was just very friendly and informative as well as helpful.
I think Couchsurfing is about having a cultural exchange and it's a great chance to meet more productive people. Being able to stay at someone’s place even tho you don't know each other but making an effort for it, and share a good time, food or even just simple conversation. It also gives a very local perspective since the cafes, the roads, the restaurants differ from one neighbourhood to the next.
Interests
Wine :) I've been taking wine courses since 2013. Now, I'm a first phrase wine taster.

Music, Movies, and Books
Reading is one of my favorite activity. I prefer criminal and more realistic books. I can stay up all night watching action or crime tv shows. One of my favorite movie is The Life of David Gale. And do I like to listen a music? Do you like breathing?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
3 hours mountain biking as hell in Trois Pont
Surviving in Oslo without any cooked meal almost 3 days, just eating tangerines.
Teach, Learn, Share
Firstly, I can teach you Turkish. I also know Russian so if you are interested, Cyrillic alphabet too. As I mentioned, I used to play a guitar, so it would be really nice to have a chance to reinstate my playing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing food is the best kind of fun. At the moment, my next trip plan is for The Netherlands with one of my friend. So I can't stop thinking about Bitterballen!! One of the traditional food of The Netherlands and my fav. I really would like to learn how to make those so I can try to soothe my hunger at home.
