About Me

ABOUT ME

Student who graduated danish gymnasium, now just finished 8 months in the Royal Guard Army.
Most interesting thing about me, is that my grandmother has started her own travel agency, and she even named it after me Viktors Farmor (Viktor's Grandmother). My whole family is involved in this business, and i have therefore been to Peru, Oman, Scotland and lots of other, rather alternative countries for a young man. When i was just 11, i spend 4 weeks in Rio, Brazil, with about 50 other kids from 12 different nations, learning language and culture from all over the world!
Myself, I've been to more than 20 countries, 26 american states.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn new people, to see and experience them! One thing is tourist attractions, buildings, nature, food and so on. But the really interesting thing in any country, is the people who live there!
Thats why i couch surf, to get more deep into the country i visit and make new friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

Big Fish is my favourite movie, and I enjoy Game of Thrones, Friends and Breaking Bad! Don't watch too much tv though :) for music, I love going to Festivals and experiencing new music live! Meeting the fans of extraordinary alternative bands, hanging out with new people :) Wintergartan, Blue Van and Outlandish are among my favorites, but I truly have a very wide taste! Swedish reggae, German Hard Rock, American pop and Electronic, it depends on my mood ;) I mostly read non-fiction books, biographies, travel documentaries, history, intellectual things. I love to learn about people, and be thought new things by books. Especially military history, leadership, pilot and aviation and of course travel and exploring! I'm an ancient map collector, finding maps that believe is charming and fascinating for their mistakes, yet unbelievable detailed at times!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was an exchange student to New York in 2010/11, that was an incredible experience!

Jungle Safari in a canoe on the Amazon, giant otters, Alligators, Piranhas, Tarantula, Monkeys and al different kind of birds!

Petra in Jordan!

Machu Piccu in Peru!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are, like myself, interested in travels, i have lots of different stories and I would be even more interested hearing about places I've never been!
Other than that i am pretty good at cooking, i stayed with an Italian Michelin chef for 2 months when i was in the US in 2011 ;)
I can make american pancakes that looks like minions and I can cook right around anything!
