Finished my master's so I'm treating myself to a month-long trip in Asia. I also happen to be contemplating what I'm going to do when I have to go back to real life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Orwell, Vonnegut, and Bradbury, and developed an obsession with David Sedaris in college. Hopscotch by Cortázar is one of the best and most challenging books I've ever read. But, I also enjoy the occasional beach book and I cried with The Fault in Our Stars.

As for music, I have pretty broad tastes; from classical to EDM (except for death metal and stuff like that). Some of my favorites: Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Joy Division, Vampire Weekend, Rilo Kiley, Zoé, Café Tacuba, Soda Stereo. I've been listening to Kendrick Lamar's 'To Pimp a Butterfly' ON A LOOP since it came out. I'm constantly on the lookout for new sounds, so suggestions are welcome!

So many movies, so little time!! Every movie by Almodóvar is a classic. Pretty much anything by Wes Anderson, Scorsese, Kubrick (yeah, not sure those are often in the same sentence together). I'm also a sucker for romantic comedies, especially from the 90s.
