About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I believe in communication as a tool to foster social change, to educate people and create awareness. I believe in a fair world for everyone, but I'm sure it won't change by itself... so I want to bring my small contribution.
ABOUT ME
I'm Júlia from Barcelona, and the truth is that I’ve never been very good at describing myself, basically because I still don’t know very well who I am :)
PHILOSOPHY
"Today was a pretty day.
Autum comes with these slight surprises
where your life might twist and turn.
Hope to unlearn.
Strange things will happen
if you let them come around and stick around."
"Strange Things Will Happen", The Radio Dept
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It is more than travel, it makes your trip amazing! You not just visit a new place, you meet people from there and you can share experiences while they show you the country in their own way!
And, if you can't travel, let the world travel your home by couchsurfing! You can host people from all over the world, and this is wonderful, I love it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I really love films and to go to the Cinema, I can't choose one!
Books: I think that each book has a life moment, and now I love "South of the Border, West of the Sun" of Murakami and I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter (I grow up with them!)
Music: I think that everything is better with music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in a four month trip around South America and I saw incredible things, amazing places… and the most important one I met really cool people. I’m absolutely in love with each country I visited:
- The sunset in the desert of Huacachina.
- The sunrise in the Salar de Uyuni.
- The huge and impressive Iguazú Falls in Argentina.
- The small and lonely Isla de Chiloé in Chile.
- A huge and lonely beach in Neil Island (India).
- The smiley faces of slum's kids in Kolkata.
- My feet in the Ganges.
