Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I ve registered to CS because I am keen on meeting new people, visiting new countries, experiencing new things, learning new customs and just living my life to the fullest.

Interests

I really enjoy doing all different kinds of sports. I love volleyball and beachvolleyball, tennis, riding a bike, swimming, going for walks both in the nature and in the city. In winter I do A LOT of snowboarding and skiing (I also work as a ski&snb instructor during the winter).

Also, for the last 5 summers I was lucky enough to work as a leader at an English camp for kids, where I got to meet sooo many awesome people. Since I'm studying for becoming a teacher, I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with the others, be it children or adults.

My newest huge discovery is yoga. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Haha, that would be a neverending list. I love Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Arcade Fire, Gregory Alan Isakov, Radical Face, Sufjan Stevens, Mumfords&Sons, Hurts, José Gonzales, Radiohead, The Naked and Famous, Walk Off the Earth.
As for the movies, the ones I can think if now is The Eternal Sunshine Of the Spotless Mind, Midnight in Paris, Cloud Atlas.
And books: I have one that I simply love and that is The Little Prince. Some others could be The Great Gatsby and FSFitzgerald in general. Currently I am in the process of pushing myself to write my diploma thesis on Zadie Smith, so any suggestion or idea is more than welcome :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Currently kind of backpacking through New Zealand while working occasionally.

In the summer of 2016 me and my friend have hitchhiked through Spain and it was the best trip of my life. We were trying to do it as lowcost as possible, so hitchiking and sleeping outside on the beach was a clear decision haha. And it was the best, the people were literally the nicest, helping us whenever we needed, inviting us over to their homes. The future for the human kind is bright. :-)

ERASMUS!!! I ve done 1 year long Erasmus in Germany and it was definitely the best year of my life so far! It's like one year long traveling, with minimum of duties and maximum of the most awesome time filled with the most amazing people <3
To whomever who has the opportunity to do Erasmus and still hesitates: JUST DO IT, you will never, even for one second, regret!

Czech tongue twisters are just so much fun, too! :D I love learning 'useful' phrases in other languages haha. Any spanish speakers out there? My spanish friends tought me the 'top 10' spanish pick up lines, so Im in a terrible need of practising them :D

In winter we could go for a ski/snb trip to the nearby mountains and I can teach you how to ski/snb. :-)

...or do some yoga in nature, go for a beer, party as hell, or just chill in a park enjoying the moment reflecting on how wonderful life is. :-)))
