About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Stop working so much

ABOUT ME
I like to explore: places, people, ideas, food... I like to talk, read, cook, walk, play boardgames... I can even try to dance, if needed.

Always looking for some answer, big answers about life, human being, society... and small answers about the best "trattoria" in Bologna. I really enjoy try to solve this mysteries with friends and guests.

I work with homeless people, and with Cassero, the LGBT association of Bologna. Trying to change some unfairness.

PHILOSOPHY
We are here to feel good
Or...
Men and women are searchers and their ontological vocation is humanization (Freire)

Malaise exists and must be found, well-being does not exist and must be invented. (Spaltro)

It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?"€ (Winnie the Pooh)

It's a magical world, Hobbes, ol' buddy... Let's go exploring! (Calvin)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new people, laugh, visit places together, learn, discover new cities, people, food...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very good. I hosted few people in the old house and they were beautiful persons I'll never met otherwise. I went to a wedding of one of them! Cool

Interests

Meeting people, exchanging views, theatre, travel, literature, good food (eat and cook it) things I’ve ever seen, Spain!, Calvin and Hobbes, action-research, sunny places, “the bright side of life”(cit.), olive oil, satire...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Mmm, not very cultivate in this field... I like folk music, songwriters, stupid music nice to dance, and recently added: Vivaldi. Maybe it's something I will learn by couchsurfing

Movies:
Seven Samurai, Amour, The Godfather, Miyazaki (everything!), Contracorriente, Ratatouille, Amarcord, Cantando dietro i paraventi, Wim Wenders, the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Jesus Christ Superstar, Metropolis, Land and Freedom, X men...

Books:
Cameron, Kawabata, Calvino, Amado, Quarenghi, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Bassani, Queneau, Ionesco, Anton Chechov, Dostoyevsky, Hemingway (when I was younger), Jane Austin, Bennet, Naipaul, Salinger, Shakespeare, Kristof...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I did was to stage "Nubicuculia" with my theater group. So exciting and cooperative, but also:
Get lost in Istanbul
Being in a capital city during a revolution
Receive a nonconsensual absolution from a Polish missionary in the middle of nowhere in Africa (???)
See more stars that I think could be possible
Transform a visit of a room to rent in a big party (Ahh... that's Spain...)
See the midnight sun
Work with a group of homeless people preparing a protest
