About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the world.

ABOUT ME

I think at myself as an active person, who likes to know and try different things. I like listening to people and seeing the world through others' eyes. I trust people and like to rely on them.
Everything else you'll discover by meeting me.

PHILOSOPHY

Live simply that other's might simply live. [Mahatma Gandhi]
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like very much host and be hosted ;)
When we host someone we always try to spend some time with our guests, to advise them about the best places in the city, to cook some good italian food and to show Italian culture..
As we always use our bikes we like people able to ride in the jungle of the city, so that we can move together everywhere easily.
We also prefer to be asked for a couch some days before the arrival date!!
Last but not least: we like trying food from all over the world, so if you want to thank us for the hospitality, bring or cook us some typical food from your city!! We'll appreciate a lot :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started my "hosting experience" when I was 12 years old: at home we hosted two american girls during 6 months with AFS. Later I spent one year in France hosted by a family I didn't know before, always with AFS. My parents like having guests very much so that since I was a child, my house is usually plenty of people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Its VERY DIFFICULT for me to find something "favorite". I like many things.. film: Back to the future, The lives of others, Myiazaki, Nuovo cinema paradiso, Quentin Tarantino, Forrest Gump, the Reader, Almodovar, Hitchcock, la faute à Fidel, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, 8 e mezzo, Hurricane.. music: Fabrizio de Andre' (I like plenty of his songs..Maybe in this period my favourite one is "La canzone del maggio"), Francesco De Gregori, L'Orage (a band from Aosta Valley that I'll make you love!), Gaber, Caparezza, Mumford and sons, Doors, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Led Zepelin, o fado e as tunas (sobretudo a tuna da FMUC!), Silvio Rodrigez, Queen!!!!!!!!! System of a down, la belle musique française style Zaz, Notre dame de Paris, Saez, Sinsemilia.. books: Maus, Isabel Allende, Roots, Zerocalcare, Monsieru Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran, Cien anos de soledad, Kundera, Erich Fromm, Umberto Galimberti, Hermann Hesse, Gianrico Carofiglio, La petite tailleuse chinoise, Stieg Larsson, Nicolas Bouvier et Sylvain Tesson, Daniel Pennac (avec son Monsieur Malaussène!) Sartre, Le petit prince, Kallocaina, Life of Galileo..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I landed on a glacier, with my father. Canyoning (if you don't know what it is, don't worry! Cause I did it whitout knowing it!). Climbing and having a look of the world from high. Ice climbing in Cogne. Bouldering in Melloblocco and Fontainebleau. Ski touring with the moonlight in my nice Valley.. Let's say I find Nature amazing in all its shapes (human and animal included :P ).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some sports such as skiing, snowboarding, climbing, playing squash, swimming.. I can cook some good italian dishes (lasagne, polenta, risotto.. Few days ago I even learnt how to prepare yoghurt!!), play cards (italian games), speak a very good italian and a very good french ;)
I could teach you knitting (it can be useful!), preparing natural cosmetics and natural detergents, fixing your bike (not everything yet..), cutting vegetables very fast.. I really love learning new things, and I feel like sharing plenty of things with you!
