Overview
About Me
I'm a fortysomething women from Belgium. I love to travel the world and meet new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelingand experiencing another culture and spending time and interacting with people. I'm not the type of person who wants to spend the holidays at the pool with a book (although there is nothing wrong with this once in a while). I used to hitchhike alot, and couch surfing has the same feel for me. Spending limited time with people you never met and end up having the most interesting conversations in a blink.
Interests
I love spending time outdoors in nature, having a good talk over a glass of beer, yoga, horsebackriding, surfing, reading, cooking.
I'm also - granny alert - a huge lover of crafts: I spin my own wool, knit, weave rugs etc ..

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big SciFi fan, a bit of nerdy stuff in general. I like all styles of music as long as it's good and it moves me in a way. My favourite style of music is psychedelic rock from the seventies, but I can just as well dance all night long on a good drum 'n bass party.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My most amazing thing should be my Norway adventure. I got my driving license at the age of 41, got myself a little car and took 6 month of unpaid leave and kissed by boyfriend goodbye for a while. Went to Norway by myself to get back into contact with Nature and myself. Travelled all the way up to North Cape while working on farms. I can recommend it to anyone!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook: from veggie indian dals to hearty meaty stews. You name it and I cook it :D
