I am Chrissie, currently I am enjoying my vacation after working on a cruise ship. I am planning on going on some trips and after that travel for a longer time to South and Central America.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

When I lived in Amsterdam I didn't host anyone but I did meet up with some people from couchsurfing to show the city and I learned that it's a really fun way to rediscover your city with someone who doesn't know it yet. Apart from that I am also on Couchsurfing because I would really like to stay at someones place myself at some point, it seems so much more interesting to stay with a local rather than to stay at a hostel or hotel.

Intereses

I love to travel, I try to travel as often as possible and my biggest wish is to go to and explore south and central america. My favorite thing to do is go anywhere by bicycle, on my own or with someone, in nature or through the busy traffic in Amsterdam.

I like jazz, mainly swing and big bands but I also love gypsy jazz. Apart from jazz there are various genres I like.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went to Costa Rica for a few months to learn Spanish. I've learned a lot about the culture since I stayed with a host family and I've seen a lot of beautifull national parks and amazing wildlife.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Storys and a good time I guess! My cooking skills aren't very impressive but I'd be happy to prepare some typical Dutch dishes.
