I'm an English and Portuguese teacher and I come from Rio de Janeiro. I'm reserved but easygoing. I'm into cooking and once I get to know someone I tend to be quite chatty.

I try to be open minded about life. Unless in what comes to personal hygiene. Seriously, one must take regular showers, brush their teeth and not stink.

I like to host and surf, but I'm way too lazy to attend the couchsurfing events in town.

I've couchsurfed with the help with this web and without it. Being a Portguese for foreigners teacher and having a light approach to life has helped me with that.
It's really nice to meet ex-students when I travel and I've done it a lot!
In my early twenties I studied Spanish in Buenos Aires for a very brief period of time and staying with a host family was a memorable experience, that might be one of the reasons I think this couchsurfing idea brilliant and try to participate as much as I can.

I can offer you a sofa bed or an inflatable mattress, blankets, a fan and wireless internet connection. My flat is small and my roommates are a fun and loud cockatiel and a happy puppy. They may very well wake you up early in the morning and because of them I'd appreciate that you smoke on the balcony.
