ABOUT ME

Hey world! My name is Luka *yes, like from the song :) *

I'm 30 year old guy, born and raised in Novi Sad, Serbia. I moved to US in 2017 through exchange student program and stayed here up until now. I was working and travelling as much as I could but for people like me, fully energized all the time, it's never enough! :D

My first state I was living in was North Carolina, but I stayed there for a short period of time and then moved to Colorado. After Colorado experience I moved to Illinois and stayed there till winter. Couldn't stand that cold weather so I decided to move to Miami, where I stayed for 5 years. So as you can tell so far, I am a nomad! :)

For the rest of about me section you will have to meet me and hear everything else I have to share! I promise it'll be fun! :D

Right now, my plan is to spend more time in Europe so I thought I could give this app a chance.
As I mentioned before, I live in a house in Novi Sad and I'm more than happy to accommodate you and show you around whenever I'm there.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have this profile since 2013, but I am just now trying to reactivate it in 2023 because I love surfing and hosting!

I am planning to travel a lot more and I hope I will find similar hosts as I am, open minded, honest, fun and full of stories, willing to hang out, share and experience things. I would love to make as much interesting connections as possible and make new friendships.

I am absolutely crazy about dogs! Big, small, fat, skinny, lazy, active, doesn't matter. I don't care about breed or anything, I just love those creatures and can spend hours and hours with them.

When I'm not driving semi-truck I am part-time singer in clubs, restaurants and private parties.

I love going out, cooking, drinking, making BBQ and hanging out.

My favorite season is definitely summer, as I love beaches and hot weather.

Also, I super enjoy rides on my bike and basically any type of adrenaline.

I like spending time flying with my drone and explore things from the bird-view perspective (super jealous on birds for having that view all the time).

MUSIC TASTE

99% of the time you'll catch me listening to Serbian music, since I always try to expand my repertoire for my music carrier. Besides that, I'd say I love listening to jazz, classical and lounge music.

I like Elvis Presley, The Blues Brothers, Queen etc. (not really familiar with anything but Serbian music)

MOVIE TASTE

Since the first time I've watched and so far, my ABSOLUTELY favorite movie is The Lord of The Rings. I find that trilogy fascinating and I always wonder how great would it be to experience that type of living (especially as an elf!). For the longest time I didn't want to watch Harry Potter, but after I've seen it, it grew on me, I definitely find the wizarding stuff super cool and interesting.

BOOK TASTE

Not gonna lie, I'm not a big book reader, but I do remember that I really loved reading Sidney Sheldon - Tell Me Your Dreams

Moved to a different country with absolutely different culture than mine.

I can teach:

how to play piano, how to play ukulele, how to drive motorcycles, play table tennis, and make THE BEST warm sandwiches in the world!

I can learn:

whatever I set my mind to, lets see what you have to offer :)
