About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Missions?! Too serious for me. Let's improvise!

ABOUT ME

I am adaptable, spontaneous, curious, dancer, good listener, amazed about how conversations happen, in love with everything Balkan-related.
I like watermelon, languages, ice-creams, museums, beer, narrow streets in big cities, hidden religious places, coicidences, biking in town, stone beaches, observing people in airports (not in a creepy way) and write about their lives, art, Belgrade, feeling the sun in my face in cold days, arabic culture, learning, sit and listen to buskers in the street, my travel notebook, karaoke, getting surprised by a book, sitting in a bench and eating sunflower seeds, wandering in towns and life in general, planing trips I would never make and make trips I would never had imagined.

My life is not made of big moments, but small great moments.
I enjoy every small detail life and people give to me.
The best moments are not in a picture, so forget about camera for a while and enjoy the view.
Best plans are not planned.
Is not about the money, it's about the time people spend with you.
Tea lover, coffee hater!
Chocoholic and rakijaholic.
One of my dreams is to sleep in a hammock.

PHILOSOPHY

If you trust people, people trust you.
What you give it's what you receive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Some friends of mine had already experienced Couchsurfing, so I decided to try. Since then, I use it every time I travel, but also when I'm in my hometown, attending and organizing CS meetings. For now I cannot host so I would like to meet up with locals and expats living in Prague and discover the city and its people. I'm a tour guide here so I know a couple of secrets places off the path :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have already had some experiences hosting, most of them in the Balkans, and surfing, most of them in Europe. The whole experience of Couchsurfing is life changing for me because of the diversity of people I got to meet. I also attend the CS meetings when I'm in my hometown, where I have met good friends.

Interests

Art, culture, anthropology, languages...
I love to prepare costumes. I can make a costume out of anything.
Chill around some beers.
Discover new places without maps.
Share stories.
Enjoy like a child with small things.
Laugh.
Listen.
Dance, dance, dance even if you don't know how to do it. There's always a reason to dance, especially latin music.
Anything that reminds me to my childhood in the villages of my parents, touches my heart.
I'm in love with second hand markets, green markets, flee markets and any kind of street market, specially those where you can find things you are not looking for, including little treasures.
Every year I have the same proposition: play the guitar again. I used to play when I was a child, but I have forgotten how to do it. So if you know how to play, and especially how to motivate me, let's meet.
