Hi!

I am Inês, Portuguese, but living abroad for some years. From travels and Erasmus I ended up in this unexpected program in Denmark called DNS - The Necessary Teacher Training College, studying Pedagogy.

What leads me there is very similar to what leads me to different people, projects and CS. To face as close and raw the diverse reality and people around the world.

I am passionate about meeting new people and projects to share experiences. I truly believe that the system where we live in (educational, social, political, economic, environmental, etc) is not sustainable and that we need to understand it, get together and change it, with small steps. An emancipated education from our prejudices and structures, where we get ownership in how we learn and act and where we reach people to learn with them and teach eachother, is the necessary tool for that. And getting out of our comfort zone is what will get us there.

So, NEVER DO THINGS THAT DO NOT MAKE YOU NERVOUS, if it does not accelerate your heartbeat then it does not keep you alive!

After a 4 month Study Travel by bus through Western Africa with 16 people, later, 6 months living with 10 people in Malmö, Sweden, the same group with whom I did that travel, and a summer trip to meet a Circus Project in Budapest, now I will move to Gothenburg for a new adventure.

I am a person who appreciates a lot to be with people, having or not activities. I enjoy to know the different realities and learn from the experiences that people have to share, creating a counter-culture that does not fluctuate around alcohol. Nevertheless, I respect each person's personal decision, and in the end, the most important thing is that we meet each other and have some fun.

Interessen

I have many interest, but my main ones are this beautiful and difficult community life reality I have been living with my teammates, and dance!

Aerial dance and everything that complies circus and performative arts are just beautiful! Salsa, ballet, contact improvisation and all the opportunities that come to explore the relation of the self, the people around and nature, are all welcome.

Sustainable way of living is growing interest and small passion in me :)

But most of all, I am interested in learning with any experiences people around me had and what they can share with me. I am passionate about meeting the cultural context, traditional gastronomy, music, languages, anything about the culture you are coming from :D
