About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying the last half year of my life as a student. Being grateful for the freedom and opportunities it gives me.

ABOUT ME
Currently I'm writing my thesis on a daily basis. Next to that I like to train for survivalruns, one of my passions. I enjoy meeting with friends. And doing creative projects, right now my project is to build a storage bench for in my room.

For me, food and people play a central role in my life. I love the every-day challenge of eating healthy and not wasting food, making sometimes unusual combinations in order to succeed. But then, you never know what kind of mouth-watering dish you have discovered.

What makes a day fulfilling for me is a good conversation, good food and being able to look back at your day with a positive feeling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Experiencing a new culture is best done by meeting the locals :)

Interests

My main interest is food. In my free time I like to do sports, but due to injuries this is unfortunately just a little right now. I enjoy hanging out with friends and especially having dinner with them or going out in the city or watching films. I also like doing creative things, love to have a picture in my mind and make it come true!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not that much into music, I like to put the radio one once in a while or choose a Youtube playlist.

Usually, I let my friends pick a movie and let them surprise me. Sometimes a nice chickflick is perfect, but mostly real-life stories or documentaries are more my cup of tea. Getting you to know a new world in a fun and easy way.

Just as for the documentaries, I like reading "real-life" books, allowing you to discover a little piece of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As you know, I love food and I once had this idea of making a 1-metre long Snickers bar. And then, I did. Have a look on the piece that appeared about it in my university newspaper: http://resource.wageningenur.nl/en/show/Student-makes-onemetre-long-chocolate-bar.htm
