ABOUT ME

My name's Ana, I was born November 5th of 1993, in Mendoza, Argentina.
Eight years later, due to the difficult situation there, my family moved to Spain, to a little island called Ibiza.
In Ibiza I grew and studied until 2011, when I finished high school, at that point my dream was to be a photographer, so I moved to London and studied and lived there for a few months.
After that, I went back to Ibiza, and started working as a photographer for Airbnb.
But my thinking changed, and I decided I wanted to study in a cooking school, I went 2 years to a cooking school in Ibiza, and after that, I wanted to learn more, I wanted to go to the first cooking college that existed in Spain, the Basque Culinary Center. I did the access tests and for my surprise, got accepted! Since 2014 I live in San Sebastian, working and studying in the gastronomic sector and dreaming about the day when I'll be able to open my own restaurant and travel around the world.

As the child of a humble family I admire the hard work, the persistence and the willing of never giving up to your dreams.
I'm a friendly person who want to discover the world, the cultures and the people in it.
I'm quiet, I love the afternoon reading with a cup of tea or the long walks around the city.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

My way of thinking it's that to get to know a country you have to see through the locals eyes, and couchsurfing it's the best way to achieve that. I want to live the culture when I travel.

Interesses

As I said before my passions are cooking and photography, most times combined. I love hiking, and discovering new places, I'm in love with abandoned buildings (So if you know one, please let me know!).
I love music, i enjoy every style, but i have a tendency for rock, punk.
