ABOUT ME

Hello everyone, My name's Hùng, you can call me Harry. I live in HaNoi, VietNam. In the future, I want to live in another city. Maybe it will be the same VietNam or somewherelse in this world! People always say that I have good sense of humour, talkative, outgoing, easy-going and a bit crazy. I'm a big fan of 35mm film photography and cuisine. I love traveling, cooking, taking photo with my film camera and making friend with everybody in this planet.
I have been collecting foreign coins and banknotes since I was 15. So if you have any of these cute things and willing to exchange with me, I will appreciate that! I can offer you a cup of coffee, good foods or some handmade bracelets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that when you are learning a new language or travelling to another country; it's not just about sitting on your place, reading some boring grammar, phrases books, trying to remember as many vocab as possible or enjoying, eating their food, paying money buying their stuffs,... it's also about learning their culture, their lifestyle and truly living with them to understand comprehensively and have your own right attitude towards their cultures. And that's why i'm here, looking for some people who are willing to share their stories, who needs some help, who want to meet up for some fresh beer, street food and help the others on their journey.

I'm here for my trip in 2020 and 2023. I want to get to know more about the countries and the people. That's the reason why I prefer hosting people come from different countries in the world!

Interests

I love foreign coins, banknotes.
I love trekking and hiking, got an obsession in green mountains with rainforests, beautiful stream and rice terraces
I love swimming and walking along the seashore and reading a book while enjoying the salty ocean air
I love photography, especially 35mm film photography
I love cooking and always eager to try some new traditional food, even the weird ones
I love making some cute stuffs in my leisure time: DIYs, bracelets,....

TEACH

I can teach you how to use chopstick and how to make some VNese traditional foods. And of course you can teach me how to make some foods in your country.
I can teach you how to swear in VNese. It's quite rude but I think It's very funny, interesting and an important part of every language to express your feeling.
I believed that if you know how to say Hello, thank you, sorry, cheers... just a basic things, you've already got the key to master any language in the world so I can teach you all of those words in Vietnamese.
You can seat behind me on my motorbike, enjoy, and I can teach you how to use this one as well. Although the traffic system in VN is very crazy, I think the feeling of driving a scooter , control yourself would be one of the best experiences.

LEARN

I love culture exchanging. You can teach me some unwritten rules or something like that in your beautiful country! You can also teach me how to cook some of your traditional food and I would appreciate that!

SHARE

I'm a good audience. If you have any problem, you can talk to me and I can give you some advices. And I really love meeting up with the tourists because they can told me some stories about their journey. I believed that the best way to have an objective thinking about anything is that you need to listen to the others' sharing, look into their point of view and have your own opinion, and that's the reason why I love sitting on my place, with a cup of coffee and listen to the others' feeling and their sharing toward life!
