I believe the memory for a city is really first about the people you meet, then the food you eat and the last comes the beauty of the city itself. I want to travel as much as I can during my limited life, and meet very different and similar souls from myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling really helps me understand the world more. Meeting new friends is always one of the most important parts during a journey.
Actually, I had my account in CS in 2013 when I was a sophomore. I read some stories about some people travelling while using CS and having some really amazing experience. But I lived in the shared student dorm all the time, which means impossible to be a host. Then I just totally forgot this behind me until recently.
I coincidentally joined my friend to have a wonderful experience of CS in Sweden. I'm so impressed by how amazing a trip can be to have an about-to-be friend before going a foreign place. And really look forward to have more awesome memories in CS.

Interests

When I started to travel, I find there are so many things worth recording, like the beautiful landscapes and the interesting stories with some amazing people. Then I started taking pictures. While by doing this, I find myself more capable of admiring the beauty around me. Then there is a whole world full of beauty waiting for me to discover.
Through travelling, I find there are so many things need to learn, to know, like the different lifestyles and the culture behind. And then I started to have interests in art and history, which was thought to be a boring stuff to me(I was really too naive and too foolish to value them).
Now I can completely understand the old saying in Chinese that 'Better to walk for millions of miles than to read millions of books, though we need both of them, and the even better is to meet millions of people.'
