hey there. we are signe from denmark and ale from iran, a married couple who is currently on an interrail journey from galicia-spain to istanbul-turkey.

we met 5 years ago on the camino de santiago and since then we are living full time in our wonderful camper van in europe.

signe is an anthropologist and a weaver and ale was a surveyor but is now a wood worker.

we decided to go to turkey with our backpacks, without our van and our two dogs to get out of our comfort zones and stretch our body in different directions.

we are happy to hangout with our host if they feel for it and also we are pleased to be on our own if our host is tired or has to work.

our staying might be just a night to reach the next day’s train.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

first, we are good at and enjoy meeting and being with new people since we for the last five years are living alongside pilgrims/hikers who do the saint James way/camino de santiago.

second, the accommodations in cities that we are passing are expensive. as we live simple and off grid it puts a pressure on us to book beds in hostels!

兴趣

finding a crack between the rocks to hide ourselves from this race of madness. then take a deep breath and enjoy the mother nature:)
