About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting myself a degree while trying to explore the planet and get to know its inhabitants at the same time
ABOUT ME
I am a small town 20-year old Swede who has recently fulfilled a dream by travelling around New Zealand until the end of July this year. Before this great adventure I had just studied science for a year in Uppsala in Sweden and now I am starting my next: moving to a new city on the Swedish west coast to study again. I'm always eager to make new acquaintances and meet new awesome people!
PHILOSOPHY
My goal is to always try to challenge myself, get out of my confort zone and do what I really want to do, even though it's scary.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a result of being in New Zealand and not having found accomodation in Gothenburg yet I am right now mostly interested in surfing as I don't have a house to offer at home. In the future, though, when things have settled I would be delighted to open my home to other surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have coachsurfed once in Dunedin and in Wellington in New Zealand, and these were both very positive experiences and a great help to me, especially when trying to settle in a new town by myself. It has convinced me to be an active coachsurfing host myself to give others the same opportunities. I have also participated in social events and met a lot of cool people through couachsurfing.
Interests
Except for travelling I like being creative and drawing, reading books, writing short stories and cooking. I enjoy being outdoors, tramping and I have a passion for good music. Recently I've started doing some parkour and am eager to learn more of this as well. Mostly, though, I enjoy walking, talking and fika (Swedish coffe drinking) with friends and I always try to find excuses for doing it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like indie, a lot of Swedish music´, old school like Pink Floyd, Tom Waits and Patti Smith and also metal - a weird but awesome mix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever done is when I took the spontaneous decision to stay behind by myself in New Zealand after travelling there together with my sister for three months. It was extremely scary but brought me so much new experiences and friends that I wouldn't have met otherwise. I ended up staying a year - best time of my life (so far).
Teach, Learn, Share
I love baking and cooking and would love to get an oppurtunity to swap recipies. The same thing comes to good music, especially other surfers local music would be very interesting. Mostly though I just enjoy talking to other travellers and to get an insight in what it's like to live in another coulture. I'm very curious and always get inspired to go travelling again after meeting other travellers.
