Trying to overcome laziness

ABOUT ME

I am a curious person and I'm up for anything I think. I'm currently in my last year of undergraduate studies; I mayor in Art History and Fine Arts and decided to take a semester abroad in Bristol! I usually say I paint and that I have the illusion of becoming a painter, but I rarely actually paint and that is a sad thing to admit. Don't get me wrong; I live for art, in its creation and in its admiration, and think of it as the embodiment of human spirit. I hope that getting away helps me to focus on whatever I'm supposed to be doing; traveling is a catalyst for change, for seeing different things, meeting new people, making unexpected decisions.

PHILOSOPHY

I think we are alive as long as we have the capacity to be amazed. In their magnificence, natural landscapes tell us just how little time we have been inhabiting this world as a species and as individuals. In that case I guess I see myself as an observer more than anything else.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have spent my few backpacking trips in hostels and camping, but I'm up for the idea of sharing my trips even more closely with complete strangers from different backgrounds.
