Singing, singing and singing!

And of course acting, dancing... As a result: I like musicals! I performed in two musicals at university :) I like being on stage and sing! You can find my cover videos and my performances on youtube :O

* Music is the sunshine of my life!

Of course I enjoy listening the big names like Queen, Pink Floyd, Beatles. Since I am also a singer I like listening jazz vocals such as Ella Fitzgerald, Eva Cassidy, Stacey Kent. I like jazz, funk, swing, soul and indie music.

* Movies

In Istanbul I follow the film festivals (which are usually independent movies) and watch movies during festival seasons. It is like a tradition for me to go that festivals with my friends. Favorite movies;

Before Sunrise, Dogtooth, American Beauty, We Need to Talk about Kevin, Annie Hall, Little Children, Laurence Anyways, Holy Motors, 12 Angry Man, Trois couleurs from Kieslowski, Submarine.

Director I admire; Michael Haneke, Xavier Dolan, Kim-ki-duk.

* Books

Reading is like a therapy and an inner journey for me.

My favorites writers and my favorite books me: Vasconcelos (My Sweet Orange Tree), Herman Hesse (Steppenwolf),Boris Vian (Heartsnatcher),Haruki Murakami (Norwegian Wood), Albert Camus, Milan Kundera(The Unbearable Lightness of Being), Cesare Pavese,Jean-Paul-Sarte, Chuck Palahniuk, Franz Kafka.
