Well I grew up in Wellington, New Zealand and lived there up until I was 17, then I moved across to Brisbane, Australia with my family and I lived there for the next 11 years up until I was 28... which is when I decided to leave my job as an Electrician and finally get out and see more of the world...

I left Brisbane on the 14th of June 2014, and I am now hoping to spend the next few years traveling and making my way around the world...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm actually yet to couch surf...

But I like to make friends with locals when i'm traveling, I think it is the best way to learn about how people live in different parts of the world, and to learn more about their culture, customs, beliefs, history and language.

MUSIC:
Music is one of my greatest passions, back in 2006 I actually purchased my first set of 1200 technic turntables and I have been obsessed with DJing and music ever since, I enjoy a wide variety of music it really does depend on my mood...

Some of my favourite DJ's to watch are Diplo and A-Trak while I enjoy a wide variety of electronic music artists such as Hudson Mohawke, Disclosure, Flume, Basement Jaxx, Bag Raiders, etc.. when I feel like listening to hip-hop some of my favourite artists are A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Wu-Tang, Kanye West, A Tribe Called Quest, etc... when I feel like some Indie Pop/Rock I enjoy The Strokes, The Drums, Vampire Weekend, The xx, Hot Chip, The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, etc... and when I feel like some old school I enjoy The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fleetwood Mac ,etc...

MOVIES:
I'm actually traveling with a hard drive loaded with about 1500 movies I'm slowly working my way through them... there are really too many movies to mention so i'm just going to list some my favourites travel movies... Into The Wild, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Beach, Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, A Map For A Saturday

BOOKS:
I prefer to read mostly non-fictiction and autobiographies such as, The Obstacle Is The Way, Ego Is The Enemy, Daily Rituals, Letters From A Stoic, Meditations, The Power Of Now, Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Richest Man In Babylon, Vagabonding, Walden, The 4-Hour Work Week etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Buying a motorbike in Vietnam and racking up over 4000kms with it...

I traveled from Ho Chi Minh (Siagon) up to Hanoi over 24 days then lived in Hanoi and did some trips out to Ha-Long Bay and Sapa while living in Hanoi.
