brazilian literature and british music ruined me to most else with an overwhelming sense of gloom, but i'm sure i'll eventually get over radiohead and mogwai. although by now i'm pretty sure that the more you learn, the less you know.

dragged 3 tons of sardines out of the galillee every day for a few months, against their will. helped crack a private education money laudering ponzi scheme in brazil. survived a year of hunan education system/cuisine.

i can teach english and portuguese, and reluctantly discuss economics. i'd love to learn about cultural studies, literary theory, social anthropology and the chinese notion of objectivity. and i've always harboured a silly dream of learning basic programming.
