Hej oh!

I am João from Portugal, and I am currently living and working in Paris. This is my 2nd time living here, and now I want to visit as much french cities/villages as time allows.

In the last 4 years I lived in several countries and I have been working mostly as a bartender or a recepcionist at hostels. The amount of intersting human beings I met and the experiences I have been through definitely help shaping me as of who I am today. A very open-minded, happy and respectful boy (I like to think I am still 18)

I dream to open a bar in Lisboa, a couple of years down the road, to provide a space of joy, amusement, freedom and discussion for the local community. It will also be the way to provide for myself to live a quiet and relaxed life in the beautiful Lisboa and to continue travelling acroos the globe.

Well, I only had 2 experiences through CS, both in Bordeaux back in 2015, one documented (very nice experience with Carl) and another one that's not in 'the books'. This last one was a bit unpleasant and since then I havent used CS, until as this moment I am typping this (11/2018).

I am back because I will start doing monthly city-breaks and I intend to stay with locals to experience as much as I can of the local culture and lifestyle. Another reason, in all honesty, is to save some money. Specially now that I am focused on creating savings for my future bar, I have less disposable income to book hostels or airbnbs.

Either way I would be happy to meet future hosts and share with them as much joy, histories and experiences as I can =)
