I graduated with a diploma in Arts Management and work at a quirky bookstore (which by the way you should really visit when you are in Singapore : Booksactually / http://www.booksactuallyshop.com/ )

I also love to eat, travel and very interested in art in general. If you do art of any sort, whether photography / music / painting / films, please talk to me about them !

My hair colour changes pretty often...I have pink hair now :)

I used to host when I have a place of my own but unfortunately I have since moved to a new place and will not be able to host anymore.
I look forward to start hosting again when I move to a bigger space. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like my favourite quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald,

" I want to go places & see people. I want my mind to grow. I want to live where things happen on a big scale. "

I want to travel, meet people, learn about different cultures. I want to talk to people, know what goes on in other peoples' head. It intrigues me to hear about ideas and thoughts in someone else's mind, I want to learn, I want to see things in different perspectives. I want to inspire and be inspired.

So I guess if couch surfing helps me to meet people who wants to meet people to exchange cultures and ideas, I'm in.

Interests

Mainly about music, from singing to playing instruments to composing. I enjoy cooking although I am not very good at it ha ha. Anything about art in general interests me. My favourite art genre is surrealism at the moment.

I'm actually really interested to talk about music and art, it will be great you can share some of your favourite artist(es) / art works etc so that I can discover more ! If you can cook thats awesome too please share with me some recipes and teach me ! ^_^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't done much amazing things...

But if there's anything I'm proud of, I've been living independently on my own since I was 14, paying my own school fees, taking part time jobs to sustain myself. So I think that is an achievement and it has certainly moulded my character.

I would like to say travelling solo is something amazing but I don't think it amounts to much on couchsurfing because most of you guys travel a lot more than me hehe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach english, chinese and basic japanese ! If you have the time and you are interested I can also teach you to play the guitar / ukelele. :)

I am a foodie so if you happen to be in Singapore, I can give you a list of places to go to for food !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being young and inexperienced about life I would definitely learn a lot more from my hosts but I'll gladly share my favourite music, films, books and art.

I can also cook some of the local dishes we have in Singapore !! I also happen to be very familiar with travelling in Japan so if you are going to Japan anytime soon I'll be happy to help. :)
