Overview
About Me
I am a nature-loving, easy-going guy who likes to spend his time playing and listening to music, chilling with friends, watching movies, reading and cooking. I like to try out different vegetarian recipes, and I think cooking is always more fun when done together! Thats true for a lot of other things in life as well I think :) Last year I finished high school and decided to take a year off for travelling. During the fall I've been around Europe; working on farms or just staying in cities and and have met a lot of really nice, cool people from all over the world. I like to talk and discuss anything and everything from music to sports to religion to philosophy. You name it. And I like to listen to other people and widen my own view of the world by soing so. I think it is very important to approach every person you meet with kindness, compassion and understanding. Only then can you really get to know each other and develop new friendships. As I said earlier I am a big fan of nature and love all kinds of outdoor activites. However I also very much enjoy partying and staying up until the wee hours of the morning, dancing, talking and laughing with friends and strangers. Right now I am in Croatia; a really beautiful country with friendly people. I will continue my travels in southern Europe until January when I am going to Jamaica for 3 months to work, meet new people and get to know the culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is a very nice way to get to know new people and new cities. If you stay with someone who lives in a city you always get a unique experience and a direct intro to the culture and way of life in that part of the world.
Interests
Meeting and talking to new people, reading, biking and being in nature. I also like to play the guitar and sing, alone or together :) I try to live each day to the fullest and to live in the moment, since the present moment is really the only thing that exists. I think life is a beautiful thing and love to get new experiences, so I am very open to everything life has to offer. That means travelling, meeting new people, getting to know different cultures, hearing new (sometimes strange) music, eating exotic food and finding out more about the world and my own place in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe not that amazing but I have busked in most of the major cities of Europe. Oh, and I also hitch-hiked all the way from Helsinki to Prague this fall, sleeping outside in between cities. That was a pretty cool adventure :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer nice vegetarian food, polite and hopefully exciting and inspiring discussions and experiences together. I also love to play guitar and sing, so if you have trouble falling asleep I can maybe sing you a lullaby. Or we can jam together if you play any musical instruments. Or if you want to learn some basic guitar stuff I can teach you. I like to think of myself as quite considerate and kind and I try to think of others before doing something. I also like to laugh and have fun, and to not take myself or life too seriously, but to enjoy each moment for its uniqueness.
