ABOUT ME
Hi everyone! My name is María and I come from Peru, but I've been living in Germany for almost 19 years. I came here to study and just stayed here after finishing my degree. I studied languages (English, Japanese and Chinese) and work as an interpreter and translator. I like meeting people from all over the world and get to know their countries and cultures, hang out and have a beer or two.
I'm a freelancer and do a great part of my work from home, from the living room which is also my office. So, I can only host when I don't have a deadline breathing down my neck and generally not for longer than two nights. Also, if I host, I don't want this to just be free accommodation, I want to spend time with and get to know the person I'm hosting, show them my city and have that kindness paid forward by the person I host. If you're here for work and will only come here to sleep, I'm sorry but that's not why I joined Couchsurfing (emergency couch requests excluded, of course).
