ABOUT ME

I am Katie. :) I finished school last year and have now got a year to myself to do all the things I've never found time for. I currently live in Cape Town, South Africa but I'm from the UK. In the latter half of this year I'll be traveling around Europe. I'm really keen to do some couch surfing and hosting to meet new people and experience different cultures and lifestyles!

I will only be at home for another month or so, before setting off on my travels and so for this year I will mostly be surfing. But by all means contact me any time you plan to come to Cape Town and I will see if there's anything I can organize to add to your stay!!! :)

Interests

I'm interested in the world. Everything is interesting from one angle or another. I love music. Getting carried away in a tune will always leave a vacant smile on my face. It's the atmosphere of a place that I want to soak up; Its people, its culture, the FOOD.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The night sky when camping in the Cederberg last summer. It looked as though someone had spilled icing sugar over it, and we saw about 20 shooting stars in the few hours we lay there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to jam! I sing and can play a limited and mediocre array of guitar chords, love to tambourine / maraca / cutlery clank and am always in it for the fun.
