My husband, his parents, and I manage a farm - Chestnut Cliff Farm - in Freeport, IL. We like to travel, hunt for mushrooms, play with our dogs, play in the woods, tend the garden (or we'll starve), and generally not participate in modern society (I mean that in the most optimistic way possible...?!). We also have a small coffee roasting company - I'll bring you some of the best coffee ever!!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not quite on topic, but I babysit for a special needs child and he is so amazing and teaches me so many things. We need to listen to children more. And just generally listen to others, old people, homeless persons, other cultures. Anyone who is an "other," just listen to them.
