My name is Thomas van den Berg,

I'm a 33-year-old passionate music lover and creator. Music has been a compass throughout my life and besides making my own I teach others how to. My standpoint in life is very positive, I like to see things on the bright side and try to brighten up others on the way.

After travelling for over 7 months in South America, I got inspired never to stop exploring new places, meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. The thing I think we should celebrate in life is that we are all different, that's what makes life interesting.

I'm not only offering to share my spare room in my house but to meet new people, hear their stories, and help them during their journey as much as they want my help.
Couchsurfing is the perfect medium which makes it possible for people to travel on a smaller budget!

For travelling myself it is pretty similar, I think if we all care a little bit for each other and help each other out exploring this beautiful life we have, we will all have a bit more contentment in our lives.
