About Me

Hello, I'm Anna from Hungary, I'm a digital nomad who's been traveling for almost 2 years now. I'm a private tutor in maths and physics, who mostly enjoys literature, movies, arts and of course traveling. I also studied jewelry making and sculpting before completing my degree in physics. By teaching I feel like I'm doing something important, since the Hungarian education system is very bad at the moment. It also gives me a lot of freedom, in the last 2 years I've been doing Workaways and traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my travels one of the most fun parts was getting to know local people. I love the feeling of people welcoming me into their homes and lives, and to bond very quickly, which still feels unusual and very exciting. At the moment I can't host because I don't have my own flat, but I can't wait to stay still for a bit and give back to the Couchsurfing community.

Interests

I love to be around people, grab a beer with friends, go to parties / concerts and dance for hours. I enjoy reading, meditating, being in nature, museums, going to different kinds of workshops, but mostly having a good laugh, telling and hearing funny stories. During my Workaways I liked working at farms, with dogs and with all kinds of animals, learning about off-grid living and living in a community.
