Overview
About Me
In 2013 I decided to attend one-year study internship in Bangor, a small town by the sea in the North Wales, UK. First, I was a little scared of the "new world", but finally, it was so amazing experience! - To travel throughout Wales with a chamber opera, to learn some Welsh (that grunt-sounding language, I didn´t even know that existed before!), to find out all the funny differences between Czech and Brittish daily habits, to get to know another educational system and finally, to meet all the nice local people and just to explore the world - now I know that it´s addictive! :) After 2 years, which I spent back home (in the Czech Republic), the north sea and new adventures lure me again. This time, I am going to Denmark, to study Master at The Royal Danish Academy of Music. In the meantime, I would like to explore Japan this summer. My boyfriend Matouš will be traveling with me. Both of us cannot wait to discover a new part - this time far east part - of the huge world. And we´re looking forward to meet you! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me Couchsurfing is one of the best ideas of the modern world. Even although I would be that rich and could pay hotels all over the world, this is much better - more enjoyable, entertaining, interesting and especially adventurous way of travelling! You can never learn enough about the country you travel through, if you don´t know, how people live and how "local" people are. It´s not just about staying overnight, for me it´s mainly about exploring the culture and shaping own worldview.
Interests
In the last couple of years I was mostly hard working to become a good violinist and it´s still my target. If I occasionally have some free time (usually when I finish my violin practising at 11 pm), I love to drink one Czech beer from some local small brewery (my favourite is Únětice and I strongly reccommend it to everybody!). If I exceptionally have even more time, I love to play squash and I love the evening walking and talks (especially along the sea, if possible). Classical concerts are an integral part of my everyday life so apparently I love to visit some nonclassical concerts as well :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I would like to become a professional violinist so you could guess that I like classical music a lot and it is my main music genre as well. But it doesn´t mean I would listen only to classical of course! I have very extensive music interest including jazz, electro, r&b, some good pop and many other styles... Recently, my favorite musicians are Ibrahim Maalouf, Club des Belugas, Portico Quartet, Portishead, Toxique, CocoRosie, Erik Truffaz and lots of others!
