ABOUT ME

Hello I am Ayu from Cimahi, Indonesia. I love to travel and meet new people because I love to share my stories and hear yours very much!

I first travelled abroad in 2014. I went to Eurotrip (Netherlands, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland), but most of the time I spent 3 months in Netherlands to learn Dutch and stayed in my sister’s because she worked there. I also had a chance to travel to Australia in 2017, especially Melbourne and Hobbart. I strolled around Melbourne to explore the city and went hiking to visit some breath-taking bay in Tasmania, Hobbart with my cousin who lived there as Postgraduate student. In Indonesia, I went hiking to Mount Prau, Wonosobo with my colleagues in 2018. I surely want to hike again next time.

I might have not explored much for the past 4 years, but I am about to do it from now, because life is too short to just sit and watch the world from my smartphone screen or other’s instagram stories, right? I want to make my own memories, to capture the world from my point of view.

I love to walk around the city, I would love to hike too or just have conversation with you for a cup of tea, I would be delighted! Just sent me a message and let’s figure it out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new friends around the world. Having conversation, sharing life, stories with people from different region, cultures.

Interests

I love singing, and play the piano, I love music, very much! Learning new cultures, languages are always super fun. I adore hiking, stroll around the city and stop by to try street foods, visit the museum and many interesting place in the city. I would love to try something new!

I love horror and thriller movies to die, I am a big fan number one! For music, my comfort zones are Jazz, Classical and Pop, but any musics that can make me dance or sing are just perfect too.

I am learning Dutch and French. I surely can teach you Bahasa.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a little, my signature dish are Kungpao Chicken, Chicken Soup, Curry, Macaroni Schotel and some Indonesian food. If you like to cook, let’s cook together then :) I enjoy having conversation with people too, sharing stories, jokes, and let’s stroll around the city while we are doing it!
